Louise Bryan

Director

Louise C. Bryan is a nonprofit executive and municipal leader with extensive experience in governance, strategic planning, and fundraising. She served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Nashville Parks Foundation from 2021 to 2025, providing executive leadership and operational oversight to advance equitable investment across Metro Nashville’s 183 parks and 28 community centers in partnership with the Parks and Recreation Department.

Ms. Bryan has held elected office since 2018 as a Belle Meade City Commissioner, including service as Vice Mayor, and was re-elected in 2022. Her public service reflects a strong commitment to responsible stewardship, collaborative leadership, and community engagement. Earlier in her career, she worked in finance and higher education with Nikko Securities, Bank of America, and Vanderbilt University.

She holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BA from Vanderbilt University. Ms. Bryan has served on multiple nonprofit boards, including Friends of Warner Parks, Blood Cancer United, the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt Parent Advisory Board, and the Women’s Fund Board of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. A native of New Orleans, she brings both strategic insight and a deep dedication to mission-driven service.
