Jeffrey W. Buntin, Jr., is CEO of BUNTIN, which ranks among the top 25 independent strategic brand communications firms in the U.S. Mr. Buntin began his career in Chicago with the organization that is now Omnicom/BBDO Worldwide – one of the leading marketing firms, globally – before returning to Nashville and assuming leadership of BUNTIN in 2004. He applies his strategic and creative thinking to regularly advise publicly held and large private organizations across diverse industries, with his work having been covered by The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Business Week, BRANDWEEK, NPR and others. He is an AAF Silver Medal winner, two-time AAF Copywriter of the Year and has judged the prestigious National ADDYs, as well as being named a finalist judge for the 2026 EFFIE competition, which is the highest global honor for effectiveness in advertising.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from Washington & Lee University, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Williams School of Business, Mr. Buntin is also an Emeritus Board Member of PBS Nashville, a former Board Member of the National Advertising Review Board as well as the American Association of Advertising Agencies River States Council Board of Governors, a former Chair and current Legacy Committee Member of Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee, as well as a Member of the Board of Trustees of Montgomery Bell Academy, among other community and industry board positions.
